Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services all through an engagement together with the agency's senior managers at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% in the registered pupils from the instruction sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
